First graders are brutally honest on one hand and terribly funny on the other. . . and they are always fun to be around.  First grade teachers Laurie Myer, Mandy Scarborough, and Angie Jones gave the their students the first half of popular proverbs, and they had to finish them with words of their own.  Some proverbs proved to be truer they they realized!  Read on. . .
