Mrs. Myer`s First Grade Class

It can truly be said that blankets may make you warm, but a quilt makes you loved.  Mrs. Myers's first grade class proved that last week when they teamed up with Mrs. Joyce to fashion a quilt for one of their classmates.  Together, as a class they designed the squares for a quilt they could give to Collin Davis, a first grader who will be away receiving medical treatment at St Jude's Hospital.  They decided to make "frogs" the theme of the quilt because Collin loves frogs, and each student designed a square for Collin's quilt.  Then they asked Mrs. Joyce to make the quilt using their squares.  Mrs.  Joyce, who can do anything, put her love into the quilt as well.
